Pre Trip Inspection: Our instructors will conduct a thorough walk-through inspection of the truck and trailer with you, insuring you are familiar with what is required to perform a proper pre trip inspection.
Basic Control Skills Test: Our skills test lot is set up to the exact same specifications as the FMCSA requires for your CDL Test. You will spend an adequate amount of time to practice this part of the test with our trucks and trailers.
Driving: We will spend the appropriate amount of time with you to ensure you can safely operate a Commercial vehicle, and make sure you know what is required of you for your test. We have several trucks, and you have the option to use an automatic or manual transmission.
*Ross Enterprises, LLC is a Certified Training Provider with the FMCSA. We can be found on the Training Provider Registry. Our training is very hands on. Each portion or our training includes both theory and hands on instruction. We go above and beyond what is required under the Entry Level Driver Training laws set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. We want to make sure you are both comfortable with us as a company, and comfortable with the equipment you are operating.
**We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone for threatening or unsafe behavior. Foul or vulgar language will not be tolerated. Customers are expected to dress appropriately and for the weather. You will be outside during some parts of your training.
